About Chris Ballerini and the Drift:
South Shore native Chris Ballerini has been writing songs and performing all over New England since returning from Alaska in 2015. He formed the band SixFoxWhiskey shortly thereafter, releasing three studio albums and several singles with the group. He has opened for acts like The Elovaters, Ripe, Kung Fu, and the Rustic Overtones, and held featured slots at major festivals including the Levitate Music and Arts Festival and Levitate Flannel Jam.
Chris left the band in 2022 to record his debut solo album, a collection of genre-bending songs from the heart that make you want to get up and groove. His newest project features layered guitars, catchy melodies, and a tight rhythm section. The addition of pedal steel, organ, rhodes, and wurlitzer create a sound that is both familiar and unique. The album drops in the fall of 2023!
